St. Andrew's United Methodist Church has a LONG history in the community of De Soto, Missouri.  Its members come from all walks of life and participate actively in both this church and local events.

De Soto is located in Jefferson County, Missouri--about 40 miles south of St. Louis.  The town traces its beginning back to the arrival of the first railroad in 1857 and its livelihood has continued to be based around the railway industry.  Its long Main Street actually parallels the Union Pacific railroad tracks with the UP Shops on the other side.

St. Andrew's, however, is located on Rock Road in the residential part of the town--just a few blocks down from the intersection of Hwy. 21 and Rt. H.  It's easy to find and we hope to see you there someday!

Pastor of St. Andrew's is the Rev. Darlene Payne who is pictured at right.  She has been our pastor since 2006.  She has an enthusiasm that carries over from church activities to community organizations and activities--with time left for personal concern and a compassionate pastoral agenda.
